1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FinFin AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

FinFin AI is a personal finance management application that helps users:

• Track income, expenses, and financial transactions
• Manage budgets and financial goals
• Monitor investments and assets
• Generate financial reports and insights
• Set up financial reminders and notifications
• Optionally connect their bank via Open Banking to automatically sync account and transaction data

3. User Accounts and Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
• One account per user; multiple accounts are not permitted
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use FinFin AI only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
• Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the App to store or manage funds for others without proper authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

5. Data and Privacy

• You retain ownership of all financial data you input into the App
• We do not share your personal financial information with third parties for advertising
• We implement bank-level security measures to protect your data
• You can export or delete your data at any time

6. Premium Features and Payments

• FinFin AI offers both free and premium features
• Premium subscriptions are processed through your device's app store
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's settings
• Premium features remain active until the end of the billing period after cancellation

Subscription & Renewal Disclosure

• Premium is an optional subscription; free core functionality remains available.
• Auto-renewal occurs unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
• Manage / cancel via your device's subscription settings.
• Price and available tiers may vary by region. Prior notice given if prices change.

7. Financial Disclaimer

• The App provides informational tools and insights only
• We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice
• All financial decisions are your responsibility
• Past performance data does not guarantee future results
• Consult with qualified professionals for financial advice
• We are not responsible for any financial losses or decisions made using the App

8. Intellectual Property

• FinFin AI and all related content are owned by us or our licensors
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works
• All trademarks, logos, and brand names are our property

9. Third-Party Services

FinFin AI integrates with third-party services including:

• Google Firebase for data storage and analytics
• Apple Services and iCloud
• Payment processing services
• TrueLayer — for Open Banking connectivity (only if you opt in)

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9a. Open Banking Connection — Terms of Use

If you choose to use the Open Banking feature, you agree that:

• The connection is read-only — FinFin cannot make payments or initiate transactions on your behalf.
• You enter your bank login credentials (password, PIN) only on your bank's own secure page; FinFin never has access to these credentials.
• You may disconnect your bank at any time from within the app; upon disconnection, all Open Banking data stored on our servers is permanently deleted.
• Your bank's own API access policies remain in effect; if your bank revokes access, synchronisation will stop automatically.
• Open Banking data is used solely for financial tracking and insights — it is not sold or used for advertising purposes.

10. App Updates and Changes

• We may update the App periodically to improve functionality and security
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with notice
• Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of changes

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for premium features in the last 12 months
• We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure or user error

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App in violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or your financial decisions made using App data.

13. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time through the App settings
• We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, you lose access to the App and your data may be deleted

14. Governing Law and Disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey and applicable international laws
• Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration when possible
• You may have additional rights under your local consumer protection laws

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

19. International / Regional Terms

EU / UK: Consumers retain mandatory statutory rights. Cooling-off rights for digital services apply where legally mandated.

California (CCPA / CPRA): We do not sell or share personal information as defined by CCPA/CPRA. See Privacy Policy for rights.

Brazil (LGPD): Legal bases include contract performance, legitimate interest, consent, and legal obligations.

Canada (PIPEDA): You may request access or correction of personal information.

20. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, outages, regulatory changes, large scale network failures).

21. Severability & Language

Invalid provisions are severed; remaining Terms remain in effect. Where translations exist, the English version prevails in case of conflict.
